Initially, I thought the product was fantastic, so I ended up purchasing a couple more long sleeve tops. But after just a few washes, they shrank down by two sizes, rendering them pretty much useless for me. I laundered them with my Icebreaker equivalent using a wool cycle. The Icebreakers have held their quality and feel for years, but these tops shrank and turned scratchy. There’s a stark contrast in quality here. I would’ve given it two stars since they look nice and I had no issues with the boxers, but then I found out that the Judge.me rating system they use on their website only shows 4 and 5 star reviews. That really ticks me off - it feels like they’re faking their ratings. So, I’m knocking off another star for their dishonesty, plus this extra review.

The sizes run way too big, and the return process is painfully slow. It's been two weeks, and I'm still waiting on my refund. I definitely won't be purchasing anything from ISOBAA again.

Communication is seriously lacking. There’s no tracking info that actually works.

I had some worries about ordering from overseas, but everything went off without a hitch and the shipping was super fast. This was my initial purchase of Merino wool items outside of what’s sold in the US. Their offerings are just as nice, if not nicer, and I’m really into their variety.

Kicked off with a delivery that didn’t show up. Customer service was super helpful. Finally got my products, and I absolutely love them! They’re stunning to wear in this chilly weather.

I placed an order for some clothes a couple of weeks back, and there’s been no sign of it arriving. No word on any delays or shipping times, even though the site claimed it would be shipped in 2-3 days. You can’t reach Isobaa by phone since they don’t list a number (seems like they’re not keen on chatting with customers), so the only option is to email their support team. And guess what? They can’t even take the time to reply to my email inquiring about my order status. It feels like they’re treating their customers like fools, focusing more on posting blogs about how great their clothes are instead of offering even a basic level of customer care.

You can always count on the quality of this merino knitwear! I throw it on every day during the chilly months when I'm out and about, and it works great as a base layer. Plus, it holds up well to gentle washing!

Decent item for a reasonable cost.

The quality of these items is top-notch. I swapped out a bunch of my ancient and worn-out wool for fresh tops and bottoms from Isobaa, and I couldn't be more pleased. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are impressive.

I picked up a zipped hoodie and some joggers. I went with an M size based on the sizing guide, even though I usually wear an S. Turns out, the M was way too big, especially for the joggers. They had a strong odor, so I washed them right away to get rid of it and maybe shrink them a little. The smell disappeared (I mean, it better had), but the sizing issue only got a bit better. Another wash is on the horizon...

After the first wash, I noticed a small hole at the top of the joggers' waist. Not sure if it was there from the start or if it happened during washing, but it could point to some shoddy material quality and maybe a lack of quality checks. I've been wearing the hoodie for about two weeks, and the fabric near the neck is starting to wear out, probably from rubbing against my beard (which I trim every couple of days): could be another hint that the quality isn't top-notch.

On the bright side, both items are super comfy, soft to the touch, and keep you warm without feeling damp. After wearing them for days, they still smell fresh and don’t have that awful synthetic odor that usually comes after just one day. They do pick up a bit of your natural scent, but that’s not too bad. These aspects do suggest that the merino quality is decent.

The cut and colors are nice too, but that’s really up to personal preference. The buying and shipping process was smooth, but I noticed there’s no free return option for folks outside the EU, which made me think twice about swapping for a different size.
